Israel cried out- God remembered (09.2021)

Short Personal Devotion 0.1

Reading Exodus 1-3 (NKJV)

Scripture:

Now that it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. Exodus 2:23

So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. v.24

And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them. v.25

And the LORD said; I have surely seen the oppression of My people who are in Egypt, and have heard their cry because of their taskmaster, for I know their sorrow. Exodus 3:7

Reflection:

No matter how Israelites afflicted they’re blessed, that’s the children of God (that should be us too no matter what comes into our life let’s trust God and grow).

As I observed that Israelites didn’t murmur to God about what happened to them under the Egyptian’s hands but they just cried out so hard to whom? to God alone.

God knows what happens to His people. So, He planned quietly to save His people.

Also, God intervened. He always does something for the Israelites for their good and future (Jeremih 29:11). Even if the Israelites didn’t see it. God moves according to His plan.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Moreover, God knows what happens to our hearts this time and He does care.

Prayer:

Dear God,

Whatever will go through in our lives. Help us to remember that You’re always with us through the Holy Spirit.

In Jesus Name. Amen.
